Who this is
This is Maria Andreetti's personal portfolio website, based in London, UK. This page explains what personal data the site collects, why, and what your options are if you'd rather it didn't.
What's collected
The only personal data this site collects directly is what you choose to submit through the "Write a testimonial" form: a name (or "Anonymous", if you leave it blank) and the message you write. A timestamp is recorded alongside it. Nothing else on the site asks you for personal information, and there's no account creation, newsletter, or checkout of any kind.
Why it's collected, and how it's used
Testimonials are collected so they can be displayed publicly on the site, with your permission. Every submission is reviewed manually before it goes live — nothing you submit appears automatically. If a submission isn't approved, it stays hidden and isn't used for anything else.
Where it's stored
Submitted testimonials are stored using Supabase, a third-party database provider. Supabase acts as a data processor for this purpose. You can find Supabase's own privacy and security documentation at supabase.com/privacy.
Embedded Tableau dashboards
Several pages on this site embed interactive dashboards from Tableau Public (public.tableau.com). Loading these embeds may cause Tableau to set its own cookies or collect usage data, under Tableau's own privacy terms rather than this site's — this site has no control over that. You can review Tableau's privacy practices directly at tableau.com/privacy.
Cookies
This site doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. A cookie is used solely to keep the site owner logged into a password-protected admin page used to review testimonials — this cookie is not set for, or accessible to, regular visitors.
How long data is kept
Approved testimonials are kept for as long as they remain displayed on the site. Submissions that are rejected, or that you ask to have removed, are deleted rather than archived.
Your rights
You can ask, at any time, to see what's been stored under your name, have it corrected, or have it removed entirely — including a testimonial that's already live on the site. Just get in touch using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how a request is handled.
